"Just wanted to say thank you for a lovely stay over the Download 2010 weekend. Rose is a perfect host, and having Steve as taxi service is an added bonus. This guesthouse is fab, great rooms, comfortable beds, large showers and a wonderful cooked breakfast in the morning. The local pub The Talbot made us very welcome, and even let us order in Pizza to eat when we were rained out of Download early on the Sunday night !! All in all, a perfect place to stay, with beautiful countryside to visit and ideal for any venues at Donnington. WE WILL BE BACK" jane and Jonathan Smith
"A clean, comfortable and well equipped room, a great breakfast and a really warm welcome are more than enough to satisfy us. But we were daunted by the prospect of coping with being away with a 6 month old baby who is weaning and our three yr old. Thankfully, Rose and Steve pro actively provided that extra level of understanding of, consideration of and provision for our particular needs (e.g. a guest fridge to put the baby food and some milk in) that really made it so much easier to cope with being away at a naturally stressful time in our lives.
